Basketball Recap: Berea Victorious

Berea won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 57-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Liberty's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Lee, who posted seven points along with eight boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kameria Paul, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 11 points.

The win got Berea back to even at 2-2. As for Liberty, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea will take on Carolina Academy at 6:45 p.m. on the 9th. As for Liberty, they will square off against Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
