Basketball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Burlington can now relate to. They lost 65-43 to Central DeWitt on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Grayhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Central DeWitt are ranked 28th).

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Central DeWitt, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Burlington nor Central DeWitt have any future games scheduled.
