Softball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Quitman Panthers, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 last Monday.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Quitman, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Forest has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Pelahatchie on the 7th. As for Quitman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Northeast Lauderdale on the 7th.
