Basketball Game Preview: East Webster Wolverines vs. Aberdeen Bulldogs

The East Webster Wolverines will challenge the Aberdeen Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Webster has four straight wins, Aberdeen has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

East Webster is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Biggersville 76-36 on Tuesday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-13.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen came up short against West Point on Tuesday and fell 47-40.

East Webster is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Aberdeen, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Everything came up roses for East Webster against Aberdeen in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-36 victory. Does East Webster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Aberdeen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
