Basketball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Evangel Christian Academy and Springwood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Evangel Christian Academy had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Springwood Wildcats. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 47-39.

Evangel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Springwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
