Baseball Recap: Morse Takes a Loss

Morse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Medomak Valley Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shipbuilders of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Morse saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oscar Gallant, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Medomak Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Morse is set to take on their familiar foe Erskine Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Medomak Valley will challenge rival Lincoln Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
