Basketball Game Preview: Heard County Braves vs. Pepperell Dragons

The Heard County Braves will head out to challenge the Pepperell Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-37, which was the final score in Heard County's tilt against Temple on Tuesday. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pepperell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Model and fell 78-31. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 142nd).

Heard County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pepperell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.
