South Lyon lost to Lake Orion back in October of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Kennedy Duncan paced South Lyon's offense, picking up 12 kills. Duncan got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 11 assists. Kate Sulkowski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Lyon's victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Lake Orion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18-1 record this season.

South Lyon has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Walled Lake Northern on the 10th. Hopefully Lake Orion paid attention to the Lions' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
