North Sanpete's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Manti, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Everything went North Sanpete's way against Manti when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as North Sanpete made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Sanpete since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
