Union Grove won the last time they faced Stockbridge and Langston Jones did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wolverines came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 68-61 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Jones, who went 11-for-21 to rack up 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Union Grove is 2-1 when Jones posts three or more steals, but 1-3 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Stockbridge still got an impressive performance from Ashton Poole, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 13 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards. Poole is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games he's played. Mikael Mills was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and five rebounds.

Union Grove is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Stockbridge, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Union Grove has already played their next game, a 74-68 loss against Eagle's Landing on the 12th. As for Stockbridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-67 defeat against Woodland on the 12th.
