Basketball Game Preview: Houston Adventist Academy vs. Faith West Academy Eagles

Last Thursday, Houston Adventist Academy beat St. Joseph Catholic 62-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for Houston Adventist Academy.

It was another big night for Ottis Crudup, who went 11 for 16 en route to 35 points along with eight boards and seven steals. His evening made it 32 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tadeo Cedeno was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Faith West Academy entered their tilt with Allen Academy on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rams 52-11. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Faith West Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Houston Adventist Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
