Volleyball Game Preview: Byron Nelson Bobcat vs. Nolan Catholic Vikings

The Byron Nelson Bobcat will square off against the Nolan Catholic Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Byron Nelson is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Byron Nelson's tournament run continued when they took on Steele Early College on Saturday. Byron Nelson fell just short of Steele Early College by a score of 2-1. While the Bobcat didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Stallions 25-19 in the first set.

Byron Nelson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-9, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Nolan Catholic had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Marcus 3-0 on Tuesday.

Nolan Catholic walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-17.

Byron Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Nolan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
