Basketball Game Preview: Ray Bearcats vs. San Miguel Vipers

Having just played yesterday, the Ray Bearcats will get right back to it and host the San Miguel Vipers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Ray lost to Cicero Prep Academy on the road by a 44-27 margin.

Meanwhile, San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-10 loss at the hands of Santa Rita. The contest marked the Vipers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ray dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for San Miguel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Ray was able to grind out a solid win over San Miguel when the teams last played back in January of 2022, winning 32-19. Will Ray repeat their success, or does San Miguel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
