Baseball Recap: Kuna Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Kuna had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Borah Lions by a score of 4-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kaleb Olsen looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kuna's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Max Sperry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Kuna's record now sits at 10-7. As for Borah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kuna will host Capital at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Borah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
