Basketball Recap: Penns Valley Area Takes a Loss

If Penns Valley Area was riding high fresh off their 86-46 takedown of Chestnut Ridge on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams were outmatched by the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers and fell 73-45. The Rams have struggled against the Golden Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Penns Valley Area fell to 2-1. As for Hollidaysburg, they pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Penns Valley Area didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-28 victory against Bald Eagle Area on the 11th. Hollidaysburg and Bishop Guilfoyle will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
