Volleyball Recap: Branham Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Branham came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Del Mar Dons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bruins have posted since April 25th.

Branham was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 26-28, 25-9, 15-12.

Andrew Casale paced Branham's offense, picking up 17 kills. Casale got some help from Patrick Willson and his 48 assists. Martin Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Branham pushed their record up to 24-9 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Del Mar, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.
