While Edcouch-Elsa's victory against Donna wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Redskins 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won four in a row.

Nathan Garza spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Edcouch-Elsa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Rivera, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
