Basketball Game Preview: Fyffe Red Devils vs. Saks Wildcats

The Fyffe Red Devils will head out to face off against the Saks Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fyffe heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Monday. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sylvania. The Red Devils have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Saks challenged Weaver on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 40-28. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Fyffe better keep an eye on Sania Angel. She was instrumental in Saks' win, going 9-for-18 en route to 26 points. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Angel has scored at least a third of the Wildcats' points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Christopher, who posted no points along with six blocks and four steals.

Fyffe now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Saks, they now have a winning record of 16-15.
