Volleyball Recap: Highland Park's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Highland Park suffered their biggest loss since August 20, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Lovejoy Leopards. The Scots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Leopards from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Highland Park's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-4. As for Lovejoy, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Park will face off against Coppell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lovejoy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Hebron at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
