Soccer Recap: Shelby Takes a Loss

Shelby lost to Highland Tech back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Lions fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Shelby have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Shelby and nudges their season record down to 2-8-1. As for Highland Tech, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Shelby wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Lincolnton on the 2nd. As for Highland Tech, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Bessemer City on the 2nd.
