Cordova barely beat Carbon Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cordova Blue Devils blew past the Carbon Hill Bulldogs 7-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Camden Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had over her last ten games. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Khloe Herron was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lexee King, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Sumiton Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Carbon Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
