Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carsonville-Port Sanilac). They claimed a resounding 71-34 victory over the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Carsonville-Port Sanilac's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Akron-Fairgrove, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Carsonville-Port Sanilac and Akron-Fairgrove's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Carsonville-Port Sanilac will face off against Kingston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a squad that's only allowed 27.7 points per game. Similarly, Akron-Fairgrove and More Academy (who has only given up 29 points per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
