Soccer Recap: Westlake Gets the Win

After losing to Newbury Park the last time they met, Westlake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Westlake Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Newbury Park Panthers 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Westlake's victory bumped their record up to 13-4-2. As for Newbury Park, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5-2.
