Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Max Burt stepped things up a notch to give Centennial the 'W'. Burt struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Centennial: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one hit, but 3-4 otherwise.
