Volleyball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Mountainside Wolves. If the Scorpions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Red Rock had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Red Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mountainside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Red Rock will square off against Madison Highland Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Scorpions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mountainside, they will take on Anthem Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
