Football Recap: North Gaston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for North Gaston's offense. They were outmatched by the Forestview Jaguars and fell 40-0. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it nine in a row.

Despite the defeat, North Gaston saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaden Jones rushed for 138 yards and two scores on only 11 carries.

North Gaston didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zaylen Alexander and Rylan Barber.

North Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Forestview, they moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

North Gaston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forestview, they will challenge Concord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
