Kouts had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 18-0 on Tuesday. Considering the Mustangs & Fillies have won 18 contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Eli Harper made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs and three RBI while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
