East Palestine's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Heartland Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Heartland Christian fell victim to Edison and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Wildcats. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Heartland Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Bender, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

East Palestine's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Heartland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

East Palestine might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Heartland Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
