Those 91 rushing yards gave Culliton a new career-high. Grant Jordan was another major influence, as he rushed for 64 yards and ran in a TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crofton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Johnson-Brock came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Irish to the tune of 57-30.
Johnson-Brock's win came from a few key players Crofton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Wyatt Fulton, who threw for 235 yards and one TD on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 41 yards and one score. Brody Koehler also helped out with an impressive 177 receiving yards.
Crofton's record now sits at 7-2. As for Johnson-Brock, their record is now an identical 7-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Crofton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 297.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Johnson-Brock struggles in that department as they've been averaging 242.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
