After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chilton, Winnebago Lutheran Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Luther Prep Phoenix as they made off with an 11-4 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Addysin Peterson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Anna Trewin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Kynzie Rank was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win got Winnebago Lutheran Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Luther Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
