Football Game Preview: Life Oak Cliff Lions vs. Madison Trojans + How To Watch

Life Oak Cliff is 1-8 against Madison since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lions will challenge the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Life Oak Cliff duked it out with Whitesboro last Friday. The Lions took a 29-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats.

Life Oak Cliff might have lost, but man, Sukora ' Sip' Cooper Jr was a machine: he rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. The Lions also got help from Arthur Washington, who showed off his sure hands for 106 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 62-33, which was the final score in Madison's tilt against Whitesboro on Friday. The Trojans have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Life Oak Cliff, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Life Oak Cliff skirted past Madison 44-42 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
