Basketball Recap: Warsaw W Drops Season-High Score on Coshocton Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warsaw W). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Coshocton Christian 58-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Warsaw W got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Hurley out in front who went 7 of 16 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Deeds, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.

Warsaw W was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Warsaw W's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Coincidentally, Warsaw W and Coshocton Christian will both be playing Kingsway Christian the next time they take the court. Coshocton Christian will host Kingsway Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Warsaw W will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
