La Salle is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They skirted past Northview 7-5. That's two games straight that the Lancers have won by exactly two runs.

Frane Flores made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. La Salle is undefeated when Flores allowsone or fewer earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Flores was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.

In other batting news, Jesse Rios was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Travis Ochoa, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
