Football Recap: Woburn Memorial Comes Up Short

Woburn Memorial lost against Melrose back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tanners lost to the Red Raiders at home by a 21-7 margin. The Tanners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woburn Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Melrose, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woburn Memorial will host Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Melrose, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
