Soccer Game Preview: Indian Land vs. Nation Ford

Indian Land hasn't had much luck against Nation Ford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indian Land Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nation Ford Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Indian Land barely beat Rock Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Indian Land blew past Rock Hill 5-2 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warriors needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Nation Ford came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spartans a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Sun Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grace Dunnery (2), Sophia Banzon (2), Alexa Morgano, and Reagan Nelson.

Nation Ford pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Indian Land, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-4.
