Soccer Game Preview: Fulton vs. South-Doyle

Fulton has won nine straight games at home, while South-Doyle has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Falcons will welcome the Cherokees at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty goal totals in their previous games.

Fulton is headed into the matchup having not lost since March 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They won by a goal and slipped past Crockett County 4-3.

Meanwhile, South-Doyle kept a clean sheet against Hume-Fogg on Wednesday. They blew past the Blue Knights 4-0. The result was nothing new for South-Doyle, who have now won 12 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Hume-Fogg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Roger Oseguera Cruz (2), Finneas Straussfogel, and Jude Straussfogel.

South-Doyle is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-1-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 71 goals over those 15 matchups. As for Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-4.

Fulton might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from South-Doyle when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
