Basketball Game Preview: Prescott Badgers vs. Lee Williams Volunteers

The Prescott Badgers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lee Williams Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Prescott's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches.

On Thursday, everything came up roses for Prescott against Bradshaw Mountain as the team secured an 80-42 victory. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lee Williams). Everything went their way against Kingman Academy on Thursday as Lee Williams made off with a 78-57 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Volunteers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Prescott's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Lee Williams, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Prescott took their win against Lee Williams in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 73-49. Does Prescott have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lee Williams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
