 The Batavia Bulldogs have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Little Miami Panthers at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Batavia will be strutting in after a  victory while Little Miami will be coming in after a  loss.
 On Wednesday, Batavia earned  a  6-3 win over Clinton-Massie.
  Dom Hannah and  Mason Patrick did most of the damage at the plate:  Hannah  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while  Patrick  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base, two  RBI,  and a  double. Patrick is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Wes Embry, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Little Miami's good fortune finally ran out  on Wednesday. They fell  4-1 to Anderson.
  Cam Fox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on eight hits.
 At the plate, Little Miami saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lucas Basta, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 Batavia is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record  this season. As for Little Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Batavia has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.3  stolen bases per game.
