Basketball Game Preview: Madison Golden Knights vs. Midwood Hornets

The Madison Golden Knights and the Midwood Hornets will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Saturday, Madison took a blow against Brooklyn Technical, falling 51-18. The match marked the Golden Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midwood). They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 61-27 win over Fort Hamilton. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 26 points or more this season.

The victory got Midwood back to even at 3-3. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Madison was able to grind out a solid win over Midwood when the teams last played back in February, winning 60-50. Will Madison repeat their success, or does Midwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
