It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Perry Hall had no problem doing just that on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Western a 17-0 shutout. The Gators' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory (which was Perry Hall's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
