Apache Junction took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Globe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Prospectors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tigers on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Prospectors as it put an end to their ten-match losing streak.

Apache Junction's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 4-17. As for Globe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Apache Junction nor Globe have any future games scheduled.
