Grace Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Brooklane Baptist as Grace Christian made off with a 78-53 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Grace Christian as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
It was another big night for David Wiebe, who scored 35 points along with six assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathen Holderby, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Grace Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Brooklane Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.
Grace Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the at 12:00 p.m. on January 26th. Tournament Opponent is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Brooklane Baptist, they and the Cougars will face off on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Colonial Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
