Baseball Recap: Tri-Valley Falls to O'neill in First Game of Season

Tri-Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the O'Neill Raiders by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Andrew Kelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Haiden Sanders, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Tri-Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chester at 10:00 a.m. on the 16th. As for O'Neill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newburgh Free Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
