Delaware Valley has gone 8-2 against Abington Heights recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Delaware Valley's win against Pittston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Warriors made off with a 7-6 victory over the Patriots. Those seven points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abington Heights). They blew past Wyoming Valley West 53-7 on Friday. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Delaware Valley better keep an eye on Jayden Anglin. He was instrumental in Abington Heights' win, rushing for 189 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. Those 189 rushing yards gave Anglin a new career-high. Gavin Anders was in the mix as well, providing Abington Heights with two scores.

Abington Heights was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 193 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Abington Heights' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB six times. Cooper Manning refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself.

Delaware Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.7 points over those games. As for Abington Heights, their record is now 9-2.

Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Michael Iuzzolino and Anglin. Iuzzolino just won't slow down this season and has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 113.2 rushing yards per game. Anglin has been a dominant force too and has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 112.3 rushing yards per game.

Delaware Valley strolled past Abington Heights when the teams last played back in September by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
