Basketball Recap: Daingerfield Comes Up Short

Daingerfield was the 72-55 winner over Hooks when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 59-53 to the Hornets on Friday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 14-8 in the first quarter.

Daingerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hooks, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Daingerfield will take on Pittsburg at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hooks, they will face off against Atlanta at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Rabbits at the right time seeing as the Rabbits are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
