Baseball Game Preview: Grant Park Dragons vs. Beecher Bobcats

For the second straight game, Grant Park will face off against Beecher. The Dragons will head out on the road to take on the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant Park has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Grant Park is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Beecher on Tuesday. They lost 15-1 to the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Grant Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey McGinley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Grant Park's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Beecher, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3.
