Soccer Preview: Mountain Ridge vs. Corner Canyon
The Mountain Ridge Sentinels will head out on the road to square off against the Corner Canyon Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corner Canyon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain Ridge, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, Mountain Ridge made easy work of Copper Hills and carried off a 4-1 win. Alan Dedic was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.
Meanwhile, Corner Canyon's game last Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverton. Corner Canyon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The victory made it two in a row for Mountain Ridge and bumps their season record up to 6-6. As for Corner Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
