Kellogg is 10-0 against Priest River since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Kellogg Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Priest River Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Kellogg didn't have too much trouble with Orofino as they won 37-23.

Meanwhile, Priest River sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 win over Newport on Wednesday. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 95th in Idaho, while the Grizzlies are ranked 308th in Washington), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Priest River and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Kellogg, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Kellogg beat Priest River 39-31 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kellogg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
