Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Richton walked away with it. They blew past the Raleigh Lions 13-3. Richton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Will Henderson was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Thomas Walley was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

On Raleigh's side, Hayden Bowen was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits. Bowen was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with a home run.

Bowen wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Harper, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI.

Richton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Raleigh, they dropped their record down to 8-18 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
