Softball Recap: Danville Gets the Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Danville). Everything went their way against the Craftsbury Academy Chargers on Saturday as they made off with a 29-5 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Danville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Craftsbury Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Danville and Craftsbury Academy will both be playing Bellows Free Academy the next time they take the field. The Chargers will host the Bullets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
